Rutgers– Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Department of Radiology, invites applications for a non tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will have earned a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or a closely related field. The Department is especially interested in those individuals with experience in software development in the areas of biomedical imaging, pattern recognition, computer assisted diagnostics, expert systems, multivariate data fusion and high-performance computing. This individual will require excellent communication skills, and will be expected to interact with both clinical and research faculty as well as the private sector. The successful candidate is expected to support ongoing research projects in radiomics and precision oncology; supervise graduate student research and publish. This individual reports directly to the Director of Biomedical Informatics & Computational Imaging at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and the Chairman of Radiology at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
